It’s Time to Break the Cycle
Running out of time to get him on a better path? We’re in your corner. See if camp could work for your grandson
By now, life was supposed to be slowing down. You’ve worked hard enough to earn some rest.
But it’s not really working out that way.
You didn’t plan on parenting two generations, but you stepped in and helped anyway, because you care.
Now you wonder if you’ve even done him any good.
Don’t give up. You’re not out of options yet.
How It Works

Takes about ten minutes.
2. Talk With a Family Worker
Tell us about your child and learn about your options, with no cost or obligation.
3. Make the Decision
We’ll help you prepare for the conversation with your child and follow up to see how it’s going.

Our Beliefs and Philosophy
The leadership and staff at Allegany Boys Camp are Christians, and camp is a Christian environment. We do our best to live by the Bible and the teachings of Jesus.
Your child is unique and priceless, created in God’s image to thrive and succeed. So one of the best ways to honor God is to honor and support the children He loves.
Instead of relying on harsh punishments to force boys to change, we start with positive expectations. A boy is far more likely to make lasting changes when we appeal to his best instincts.
Camp Doesn’t Mean Falling Behind on School
Allegany Boys Camp is a religiously-affiliated private school registered with the State of Maryland. Your high-school-age child will get an accredited transcript from his time at camp.
A typical camper has struggled in school because of emotional and behavior problems. The camp program focuses on resolving these issues first, so a boy can succeed in school when he gets back to the “real world.” But camp activities also support all the major academic areas boys need to stay on track.
