Night had fallen, supper is over; but nothing’s quiet. To welcome in the new year, a special night has been planned. Now let’s get started…
Pirate dodge-ball! The game was fun, and the strategy was complicated. To win the game, the “Pirates”, who are in ships (wheelbarrows) have to hit the guy in the tower (ladder). So the guy in the tower has to snipe the pirates in the ships. Regardless, it was a really fun game. Even though the tower dude usually got beaned in the face with a ball.
Then after that, a band called Amberson played for us. There was a guy named Wetzel that was a beast at solo’s. My favorite song was “Light in the Window.”
Now onto the fun part… Yegaball. It’s a game that is like a infected tag, but with a ball.
After the game we had a midnight snack. Eggnog and fruit punch went down my hatch as Amberson played more music.
Uh oh, the clock strikes 11:58! Rush, rush, to the chuckwagon pad. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…. Boom! The sky erupted in orange fire, as a barrel firework went off. What a way to end 2018. Well time for bed. Happy New Year!
